I've been inspired

It's been a long time since I've made many cards but some new Paper Rose and Uniquely Creative papers have inspired me to make more than twice as many as I made during the whole of last year.

Recently Yoonsun Hur at Rejoicing Crafts made some cards with a set of floral dies that I have but haven't used in a long time so I dug out my set and used some of the Paper Rose Vintage Rose papers to create this card.  I also used an old Stampin' Up ink pad on an old background stamp my daughter gave me when she was culling her supplies several years ago.  Since I have just discovered a new challenge, Neglected Stuff, I am going to join in with this card.

This Vintage Rose from Paper Rose is what inspired me to getting crafting again.  These are a few of the cards made from that collection but I had already given some to my friend who is a chaplain without taking a 'group' photo.

These are some I made while staying at Dad's place a few weeks ago.  Some just needed a sentiment once I arrived home.
These use mainly Uniquely Creative's Serenity collection and a diecut piece which I tore so could use it on 3 of them.

The UC Serenity vellum stickers also worked with the PR Lavender & Fairies collection.

The Card Concept #173 {Vintage Style}

It's about time I shared another card or two.  I loved the photo prompt of this challenge and made 2  simple cards which fit the criteria for The Card Concept #173.

The paper is from a very old Bo Bunny 6x6 pad and was perfect for the challenge.

The green paper is from the same Bo Bunny pad while the white brick paper and cage die-cut are from Kaisercraft.

Freshly Made Sketches #448

After being inspired by a few of Jennifer McGuire's videos and cards I created these 2 cards then realised they fit the Freshly Made Sketches #448.

2019 cards and Update in 2020

It's been over 18 months since I updated here and we've had another grandson, Noah, who is now 15 months old.

Now that I am minding Eloisa (Ellie) each week I've been taking my card making supplies and been making a few more cards than I have before this years.

Here are my favourite cards from last year.

2018 has been and gone

Happy 2019.

Last year was the first year in about a decade that I did not have to babysit one of my grandchildren while mum was studying or at work.  Since I used to take my card making gear with me I managed to make quite a few cards during those years but without making an effort this past year my productivity was way down.  Here are a few of my favourites from 2018.

Using a new techique with some old stamps

Using a new Kaisercraft paper pad

Wedding card for a niece

I love sweet peas so had to buy Altenew's stamp set

Inspired by a challenge
Invitations
Zac's birthday card

With Eloisa having been born in late October it is likely I will be required to mind her when mum goes back to work so maybe I'll be able to use that time for making cards while she sleeps.

No it's not Christmas yet!

I thought I should add some more of last year's cards so these are some easy Christmas ones I made during the year but I didn't manage to send many out!  Maybe this year.
